Delete my account & data
Required by Google Play Data Safety and Apple App Store guidelines ยท GDPR Article 17 ยท Moroccan Law 09-08.
Option 1, In the app (fastest)
If you have the Hrfti app installed and can sign in, the quickest way to delete your account is from inside the app:
- Open Hrfti and sign in.
- Go to Profile.
- Scroll to Delete my account.
- Confirm twice.
This permanently removes:
- Your profile, email, display name, photo.
- All reviews you wrote and their responses.
- All chat conversations and messages you participated in.
- For technicians: your technician profile, location, ratings, RevenueCat record, and your visibility on the platform.
- Push notification tokens linked to your devices.
Option 2, By email
If you cannot access the app, send an email from your registered email address to admin@hrfti.com with the subject "Account deletion request".
Include in the email:
- The email address tied to your Hrfti account.
- Your role (customer or technician).
- Whether you want full account deletion or only specific data removed (e.g., a single review).
We will action the request within 30 days as required under GDPR Article 17 and Moroccan Law 09-08, and email confirmation once the deletion is complete.
Data we keep (and why)
Where required by law (e.g., financial records relating to subscription transactions), some data may be retained in encrypted backups for the legally mandated retention period (typically 10 years for accounting records). This data is segregated and is not used for any purpose other than legal compliance.
Subscription cancellation reminder (technicians)
Deleting your Hrfti account does not automatically cancel an active App Store / Play Store subscription. To stop future charges:
- iPhone / iPad: Settings โ [your name] โ Subscriptions โ Hrfti โ Cancel.
- Android: Play Store โ Profile icon โ Payments & subscriptions โ Subscriptions โ Hrfti โ Cancel.
If you delete your account before cancelling the store subscription, your card will continue to be charged until the next renewal date. We recommend cancelling first, then deleting.
